ROGER KOZMA
Lion Roger was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1951. He moved to
Dawson Creek, British Columbia in 1957, where he attended
school, graduating from South Peace Senior Secondary School
in 1969. He attended UBC for three years before leaving
University for work. He worked in the photographic industry
for several years before changing to the computer service
industry and moving to Edmonton, Alberta in 1982. He left
the computer industry in 1999 to join Lion Terry in running
a Shell site. Lion Roger currently helps his wife, Lion
Terry run their businesses, operating 2 Shell convenience
store locations.
Lion Roger joined the Edmonton (Host) Lions Club in December
of 1996. Lion Roger has held numerous positions in the Club
including President and Secretary and served on many
committees within the Club. He served as Newsletter Editor
for the Club.
Lion Roger has served as Zone Chair and Region Chair as well
as on the District MERL team as Extension Chair. He is a
certified guiding Lion and served as Registration Chair for
the MD Convention hosted by the Edmonton (Host) Club in
1998. He served as District Newsletter Editor for one year.
Lion Roger is a Melvin Jones Fellow, a Jack Dobush Fellow
and a Bill Webber Fellow, and has a Membership Extension
Award from Lions Clubs International.
Lion Roger transferred to the Edmonton Westmount Lions Club
in 2003.
